	What will replace it? So far, nothing, not even mog.com comes close. Maybe Apple will launch itunes.com soon, and retain most of the social networking features of lala.com. Only time will tell.

Assuming that’s true, <strong>my hunch is that more money is spent on iPod peripherals than is spent on competing (non-iPod) MP3 players.</strong>&#8220; Wow!<p>Excellent review of Apple&#8217;s iPod strategy. <span class="caps">BTW</span>, John Gruber mostly focuses on Apple, but his <a href="http://daringfireball.com">Daring Fireball</a> is perhaps the most well-written blog I&#8217;ve come across. Given that he publishes every once in a while, it&#8217;s also a stellar argument for quality over quantity.
