So free shipping is no more at Landsend, but Williams-Sonoma is picking up the slack, offering to ship over 400 products free of extra charges.
OTOH, there’s Amazon.com which offers “Free Two-Day Shipping” with Amazon Prime, their prepaid shipping program. I love Amazon Prime, but free it is not.
Maybe this is just a sign of the times. Landsend.com offers free shipping for online purchases, but all that ended Thursday, December 3rd. Or maybe not. As it turns out, the free shipping offer has been ending every week since October, and will end again next week.
Update: Free shipping has to end before Christmas, right? Maybe another week…
